# Structure your Database

When you accept an invitation to create a database, a top level database is being created. The contents of it are encrypted with your own private key, that is only available to you.

Your verified email is the username for the Database and at the same time is a [User](/icure/icure-data-stack/icure-data-model/user.md), as defined in the [iCure Data Model](/icure/icure-data-stack/icure-data-model.md). As a user you may add data based on the Data Model Schema or create new Children-Databases assigned to new Users, as per the [iCure Data Model](/icure/icure-data-stack/icure-data-model.md). Those are encrypted with separate private keys, that are available to said users.

As a parent User, you are able to see and manage other users in the database, as well as see the structure of their data. The data themselves are not directly available withouth the decryption private key.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://icure.gitbook.io/icure/get-started/structure-your-database.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
